Tai Chi Sword
Like other weapons the tai chi sword teaches a student to extend themselves into
another object, to feel what it feels and manipulate it as if it were part of
our own body. Although some are designed with a tai chi practioner in mind, a
tai chi sword generally refers to a Jian, or Chinese straight sword.
Tai Chi Sword forms are flowing and graceful, sometimes performed slow and other
times performed at lightning speed. Like all Tai Chi unitary movement, or harmonious
whole body movement is a core element of Tai Chi Sword practice.
